Enjoying their new home for just over a year, our Somers project clients were ready to add their own touches to their home. Encapsulating the traditional Californian bungalow features at the front of the home, the large entertainment area at the back of the property leads to an open plan lounge, dining and kitchen. So large was the space, that we were able to add a brand-new gas log fireplace and bench seating, without compromising on space. The stunning Spanish olive green VJ panelling clads the fireplace with ease and is finished off with new porcelain super-white stone.

Finishing off the project, we created a kitchen with a modern twist to the Hamptons style. Shaker-style cabinetry and our hero piece range-hood, mirror the VJ panelling from the fireplace. The warm timber shelf runs wall to wall and under the rangehood, creating length and space. We finished this off by tiling the wall from benchtop to ceiling in handmade square subways.

Our clients can now regularly enjoy a glass of red in front of their new fireplace, while keeping warm in the cold winter days.
