At Indulge Renovations, we recently completed a brand-new showroom display kitchen designed to inspire homeowners planning a kitchen renovation.
Rather than designing a kitchen that fits neatly into one particular style category, our goal was to create a space that simply feels good to be in. Great kitchen design doesn’t always need a label — sometimes it’s the feeling a space creates that matters most.
Warm, bold and inviting, this display kitchen was designed to be visually striking while also showcasing key elements homeowners should consider when planning a modern kitchen renovation.
The Design Concept Behind Our Showroom Kitchen
The concept behind our new Indulge Renovations showroom kitchen was to create a space that feels cohesive yet layered with interesting design details.
A soft analogous colour palette brings warmth and balance throughout the space, while a thoughtful combination of curves and clean lines adds visual interest.
The curved island bench becomes the centrepiece of the kitchen, featuring tiled detailing that wraps around the base and mirrors the soft bullnose edge of the benchtop. This curved form softens the overall space and introduces a unique architectural feature.
Panelled cabinetry fronts add subtle texture, while the combination of marble and porcelain benchtops demonstrates how natural and engineered materials can work beautifully together.
Rather than fitting into a specific design trend, this kitchen focuses on form, materiality and colour to create a space that feels timeless, sophisticated and unique.
A successful kitchen renovation is made up of many carefully considered design decisions. From materials and cabinetry to appliances and lighting, each element contributes to the functionality and overall aesthetic of the space.
Material selection plays a crucial role in both the look and longevity of a kitchen.
In this showroom kitchen, marble surfaces from Signorino Stone and Porcelain from Marazzi create a beautiful balance between natural elegance and durability — an important factor for high-use kitchen spaces.
The cabinetry features Boston Oak laminate and Thermolaminate finishes from Polytec, combined with custom cabinetry and stone masonry to create a refined and seamless finish.
These materials allow the design to feel both contemporary and warm, while maintaining the durability required for everyday kitchen use.

While aesthetics are important, a well-designed kitchen must also perform effortlessly.
This space incorporates premium appliances from Sub-Zero and Wolf, supplied by E&S, alongside integrated power points from ZETR to ensure functionality is seamlessly integrated into the design.
A 4-in-1 tap from Ziptap adds everyday convenience, offering boiling, chilled, filtered and sparkling water directly from the kitchen sink.
The finishing details help elevate the entire space. These include:
Together, these elements create a kitchen that feels layered, thoughtful and complete.

Our new showroom display kitchen was designed to be bold, eye-catching and filled with thoughtful design details.
More importantly, it demonstrates that a beautiful kitchen renovation isn’t about fitting into a particular style category — it’s about creating a space that feels cohesive, functional and inspiring to live in.
At Indulge Renovations, we specialise in custom kitchen renovations, combining thoughtful design, quality materials and expert craftsmanship to create kitchens that truly work for the people who use them.
