SCOPE

Full redesign of kitchen.

Nestled in the heart of Cremorne, The Cubitt is a striking renovation of a single-fronted Victorian cottage, thoughtfully updated for a pair of stylish empty nesters ready to embrace low-maintenance city living. The original kitchen was a dated 1990s build—dark, cramped, and lacking both storage and functionality. Our clients came to Indulge Renovations seeking a fresh, bright and modern space that felt as beautiful as it was practical.

To completely transform the layout, we removed a dividing wall and repurposed part of the oversized European laundry, allowing space for a generous appliance cupboard and a full-height pantry—key storage features the home had been missing.

At the heart of the new design is a stunning curved peninsula benchtop in emerald green stone, paired with sage green overhead cabinetry to complement and elevate the earthy colour palette. The base of the benchtop is clad in Polytec Stecca Wood panelling, offering eye-catching texture and warmth.

An integrated fridge and dishwasher keep the look sleek and uncluttered, while soft grey rippled splashback tiles add a subtle contrast and texture. Together, these elements create a seamless and contemporary kitchen that blends form and function.

The end result is a beautifully bright and welcoming kitchen that maximises storage, enhances natural light, and gives this charming heritage home a modern edge. Our clients were thrilled—and their guests haven’t stopped talking about it.
