As a young professional couple, our Mews clients wanted a sleek modern design with a little ‘WOW FACTOR’ in the design of their apartment. 

Timber being the main feature throughout the renovation, it was the Polytec Stecca wood curved island, which created the focal point in this kitchen. Blended in with subtle grey tall cabinetry, a light and airy feel was created. Even with the walnut cabinetry. 

Enlarging the stone profile to 100mm gives the island benchtop a more elegant feel. One not seen in many new kitchen renovations. Finishing off the space with oversized bronze handles and kitchen mixer tap, plus the all-black appliances made this kitchen unique and a showpiece for our professional couple.  

Moving through to the bathrooms, the timber walnut cabinetry was also added to create a connection with the kitchen and continuing the bronze tapware just made this apartment sing to itself from every corner. 

The pièce de résistance would have to be the stunning Catherine Martin wallpaper which adorns the wall of both the main bathroom and the ensuite. The tropical feel illuminates these spaces and takes you back to holiday destinations, even in the Melbourne climate. 

Overall, a unique renovation, one that speaks to our clients, but also will stand the test of time.
