BRIEF
Our modern-day wants and needs change with every decade that passes and the Parkside project clients were starting to realise the functionality of their 90’s bathroom was no longer viable for themselves and their children.
Having two teenage girls in the home, they quickly realised that a larger vanity with double basins was what they required for the space to function to the needs of this decade.
By opening up the existing main bathroom and separate powder room we were able to enlarge the space dramatically. This allowed us to incorporate the much-needed double vanity, a freestanding bath and a walk-in shower very comfortably.
Light-colored wall tiles further created a sense of space. This also allowed our stunning dark grey enlarged concrete fan tile to stand out, but not darken the new bathroom.
Adding a timber feel to our vanity created a sense of warmth and in turn, removed the coolness concrete would normally leave in a space.
Needless to say, there is no more fighting over the vanity in the household any longer.
