The Peugeot

Originally built in the 1990s and untouched since, The Peugeot was well overdue for a transformation. Located in Mill Park, this double-storey family home was in need of a full interior refresh—including the kitchen, butler’s pantry, laundry, powder room, ensuite.

The existing layout included an unused formal lounge and dining room, which we cleverly reimagined to better suit modern living. We transformed a portion of the old dining space into a functional and stylish butler’s pantry, while the remainder—together with part of the formal lounge—was converted into a beautiful custom-designed study.

In the kitchen, we introduced an elegant curved island benchtop, matched with a stunning arched doorway leading into the butler’s pantry. These soft curves became standout design features, creating a sense of flow and cohesion in the heart of the home.

The laundry, powder room, and ensuite retained their original layouts but were completely updated with contemporary finishes—new tiles, modern tapware, and custom cabinetry throughout. Natural terrazzo flooring added texture and warmth to both the laundry and powder room, while pale oak timber floors replaced the original dated tiling throughout the home.

To maximise light and space, we opted for a soft, neutral palette across every room: white cabinetry in the kitchen, laundry and butler’s pantry, paired with light stone benchtops and timber accents. The result is a fresh, bright, and modern aesthetic that feels open and inviting.

With a full repaint, updated lighting, and thoughtful design details at every turn, this renovation has completely elevated the home—turning a tired 90s build into a stylish and functional sanctuary for modern family life.
