The Waltham

Located in the vibrant heart of Richmond, The Waltham is a contemporary three-level townhouse home to a professional couple and their teenage daughter. Though the property was only eight years old, the clients felt their master suite lacked personality and warmth—especially the dated marble finishes throughout the ensuite. They came to Indulge Renovations in search of a more stylish, luxurious and personalised design that would better reflect their aesthetic.

The ensuite underwent a full transformation, replacing the cold marble with timeless white subway tiles, laid in an elegant herringbone pattern for visual interest. We also incorporated a custom-built shower seat—perfect for convenience now and well into the future.

The standout feature of the space is the striking Patagonia stone benchtop, which flows beautifully into a bespoke, custom-framed mirrors made from the same rare stone—a unique concept imagined by our talented design team to bring cohesion and impact to the space. Matching Robert Gordon ‘his and hers’ above-counter basins complete the vanity area with refined, artisanal appeal.

To extend the luxurious feel into the bedroom, we installed a bold mid-century-inspired wallpaper on the feature wall, replaced the carpet, and repainted the entire suite. The result is a seamless flow from bathroom to bedroom, unified by thoughtful design and a sophisticated palette.

The finished master suite now feels like a boutique hotel retreat—chic, unique and undeniably indulgent. It’s a true sanctuary that our clients absolutely adore.
